Terms of Use

Welcome to Carpetix Ltd ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website, located at carpetixltd.co.uk, and our residential and commercial cleaning services.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the website or booking our services. By using our website or agreeing to a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Services Provided

Carpetix Ltd provides professional carpet cleaning, upholstery and sofa cleaning, rug cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, and property deep cleaning services across Leytonstone, East London, and surrounding London areas.

2. Booking, Pricing & Fees

  • Minimum Booking Fee: We enforce a minimum booking charge of £70 per visit to cover equipment setup, travel, and material costs.
  • Upfront Estimates: All quotes given via phone, email, or chat are estimates based on standard room sizes and normal wear. If the site conditions vary significantly from the description provided, we reserve the right to adjust pricing on-site prior to starting work.
  • Access Fees: Parking fees, Congestion Charges, or ULEZ fees incurred during our service delivery will be discussed and added to the final invoice unless parking permissions are arranged by the client.

3. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a successful and timely clean, customers must:

  • Provide our cleaning technicians with access to hot water and electricity at the premises.
  • Move any fragile, valuable, or breakable items away from the work areas. Our technicians will move standard light furniture, but we do not move heavy electronics, wardrobes, or piano installations.
  • Ensure access to the property at the agreed scheduled time slot.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your cleaning appointment.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled cleaning start time may be subject to a cancellation charge equal to 50% of the estimated service fee. If we are unable to access the property on arrival (lockout), a lockout charge of £50 may be applied to cover travel and labor logs.

5. Payments

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the cleaning service, unless prior commercial invoicing terms have been agreed. We accept bank transfer (BACS), debit/credit card payments, and online secure link payments. Outstanding commercial invoices unpaid after 30 days are subject to interest charges in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.

6. Liability & Claims

  • Insurance Coverage: Carpetix Ltd maintains comprehensive public liability insurance to protect against accidental property damage caused directly by our personnel.
  • Pre-existing Conditions: We are not liable for pre-existing damage, including structural fiber degradation, permanent sun bleaching, urine stains that have damaged color pigments, or carpet delamination caused by wear.
  • Reporting Issues: In the highly unlikely event of damage or a complaint, claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion, accompanied by photographic evidence.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes.
